Hey fellow WoW players! Welcome to my blog and this article about Goldthorn farming. There is no need to ever buy it on AH if you follow my guide. Quite the contrary, you can even farm it to sell on Auction House and earn lots of gold this way.
If you have hard time earning gold in WoW I recommend using this in-game add-on, called Zygor Guides. It really helps you with lots of aspects in the game, including Farming, Crafting, Gathering, Auction, Leveling, Professions and much more... Though, the add-on costs some money, but is well worth the price. They also have a FREE TRIAL you may want to try.
Okay, first of all, let’s make things clear: farming this herb is a pain in the ass. There are so few nodes in the World, that farming it can be reeeeealy annoying. This herb grows around the hills and rocky areas. Therefore, I found out two places with at least some decent number of nods. So yeah, keep reading.

Arathi Highlands
Don’t be disappointed if you spend a lot of time sweeping the area and end up with just a handful of this herb. I warned you. This may be the best place of the worst Check it out:
The Hinterlands
This is the second option. There are not as many nods here as in Arathi Highlands, but the area is smaller. Feel free to try it:
