Hey fellow WoW players! Welcome to my blog and this article about Khadgar's Whisker farming. There is no need to ever buy it on AH if you follow my guide. Quite the contrary, you can even farm it to sell on Auction House and earn lots of gold this way.
If you have hard time earning gold in WoW I recommend using this in-game add-on, called Zygor Guides. It really helps you with lots of aspects in the game, including Farming, Crafting, Gathering, Auction, Leveling, Professions and much more... Though, the add-on costs some money, but is well worth the price. They also have a FREE TRIAL you may want to try.
Khadgar’s Whisker mostly grows under the trees. I traveled around, searching the best zone to farm it. From my experience, the best place to farm this herb post-Shattering is in Eastern Plaguelands. It is really full of it. The second best place I was in farming was in Western Plaguelands. Check it out:

Eastern Plaguelands
There are really lots and lots of nodes here. I recommend you having a flying mount, because this place is full of hills and mountains, so it might come up very handy :). Follow this path:
Western Plaguelands
This is also a great spot, especially if you don’t have a flying mount. The terrain is easier and the mobs are lower level than those in Eastern Plaguelands. You are able to farm here quite efficiently because you don’t need to travel much. Try this way:
