Hey fellow WoW players! Welcome to my blog and this article about Mana Thistle farming. There is no need to ever buy it on AH if you follow my guide. Quite the contrary, you can even farm it to sell on Auction House and earn lots of gold this way.
If you have hard time earning gold in WoW I recommend using this in-game add-on, called Zygor Guides. It really helps you with lots of aspects in the game, including Farming, Crafting, Gathering, Auction, Leveling, Professions and much more... Though, the add-on costs some money, but is well worth the price. They also have a FREE TRIAL you may want to try.
Mana Thistle is a special herb. When you pick up, some of your mana is restored (anywhere from 500 to 3500 mana). Keep in mind that this herb grows exclusively in the areas only reachable by flying mount. If you don’t have one I don’t recommend to farm it. Let me show you all the places where you can find it. Of course, it grows only in small quantities.

I recommend to first go and check the area North-West of Shattrath City and then to the Skettis (South-East part of the map):
